KONSA (6) five-start Maiden edging towards a win. Produced good closing splits in the heavy (9) going with a narrow second over 7f at Newcastle. Key jockey change from the good gate and expect to see him race a little closer today. Hard to hold out. FARSET (4) Farnan gelding with his hoof on the till fourth-up. Took control early with the 133lbs for a courageous second over 6 ½f at Hawkesbury in the heavy going. King sticks from the good draw and will prove hard to run down. AGRAFFE ROCKET (1) heavily supported on resumption with a slashing third from back in the field over 6 ½f at Scone. Will keep improving as he gets out in trip. Sure to be thereabouts. ARTGIRL (9) is mixing her distances up this time in and stretches out to her right trip today. Never looked comfortable in the heavy going with a plugging third over 6 ¼f at Canterbury. Likely to be about the mark again.
