Big change in the look of this race with mass scratchings. BALMORAL CASTLE (1) was 39 days between runs when an eye-catching third last start over 6f at Rosehill. Progressive type who lines up for only the third time and will be tough to resist over a bit more ground today. CHAMPERE (8) started at $5.5 and gets a pass mark for her close fourth on debut at Canterbury three weeks ago. Draws a perfect gate and the winkers go on so there might be improvement to come. MOVIE NIGHT (4) is a full sister to a Flight Stakes winner on debut for O'Shea/Charlton. Recent trial winner who should be monitored carefully. WOOTTON WAY (11) wasn't given any hope by the market but did close well late on debut over 6f at Rosehill. In the mix with some natural improvement to come. Kris Lees' first starter ERIN JO (3) is by I Am Invincible from the grand race mare Lucia Valentina. Has been to the trials plenty of times so should have some race smarts.
