Well weighted and expected to go close. SPIONE (18) strengthened over the break and looks set for a rewarding campaign. Won well first-up, then jumped in class and trip from the outside gate with an unlucky third over 7f at Hawkesbury. Steps out to the 1m for the first time and can overcome the gate on the limit weight. UNTIL VALHALLA (17) fourth-up for this and going better than her form suggests. Covered a stack of ground in the run in the heavy conditions when ninth over 1 ¹/16m at Warrnambool. Gets the gun run today and can surprise at the big odds. JAMBEROO (15) tough gelding with good second-up form. Faded late first-up when eighth over 7f at Hawkesbury. Conditions suit and can make rapid improvement.
