WHAT A GENT (11) turned in a decent effort last start to finish third over 6 ½f at Wyong after being in contention on the bend. Finds an easier assignment and gets another good chance to finally get off the mark. KHARIF (1) has been freshened with 50 days since finishing fourth over the mile at Gosford. Filled a placing in a recent trial. Drawn sticky but looks one of the main threats. HABIB ALBI (3) finished third last start over 1 ¹/16m at Grafton to make it three minor placings from six runs. Has been in the frame at both appearances at this course. Deserves to be in the mix. FIT FOR A PRINCE (5) has mixed his form this prep but his better efforts can measure up.
