BRITISH GEM (9) has impressed at both runs this time in work, the latest offering a close third over 6 ¾f at Wyong where she attacked the line with venom. Perfectly placed out to this trip in a weaker maiden - should be breaking through. WHITE WAVES (11) started at $51.00 on debut last time out over 6 ?f at Muswellbrook but ran better than expected, closing strongly to get up for fourth. Bred to relish this extra trip and from a nice draw should get all the favours in transit. THUNDER LIGHTS (7) registered his third minor placing from seven career runs when an even third over the mile at Wyong recently. Less depth to this maiden so he cannot be underestimated. PRINCE OF WANTS (5) enjoyed getting through the heavy ground at Taree last start, working home into third over 6 ¼f. Plenty of improvement to come at just his third race start. DANCING TILDA (2) was game in defeat at Taree last Tuesday and is a chance on the quick back-up.
