Pike handed up the lead on GANGSTER GODDESS (7) at this track and trip 18 days ago and couldn't reel in the leader on that occasion. She was a $2.25 fav there and now gets the blinkers on for the first time. Third-up now with Pike sticking, she looks set to return to winning ways. ETERNAL WINE (6) finished off nicely to score over 5f at Bunbury last time out and the rise in trip doesn't look an issue. Shouldn't be too far off Gangster Goddess in the run and can repeat the dose. HOUSEWIFE (1) resumes with a trial win under her belt late last month. She was scratched last week after a floating mishap but that shouldn't have too much impact on her today. Has some class about her and she won't be far away. MIGHTY HOSANNA (3) can feature in the finish once again with the fresh run under her belt.
