DANCE ON SON (8) sat close to the speed from the outset first-up and got the job done by 1.2L in a strong performance as the race favourite. Should be prominent again from an inside barrier in a race that looks to set up similarly. Improvement is expected and he can go on with the job. COMMON TOUCH (7) led and bolted in over 5 ½f at Bunbury, scoring by 3L in an impressive performance. Should be better for that effort and he looks ready to go on with the job this campaign. Figures suggest he has some improvement to come and he can go back-to-back. BRAVE WASP (5) won fresh before finding them a little sharp when remaining at 5f last start, but his closing splits were super. Out to 6f now is a big tick and he can close strongly from the back of the pack. BULLETIN BEAU (6) has trialled well coming in and can feature first-up. SUPIDO EXPRESS (2) was sound on resumption and can build on that performance.
