Verdict

LONG LAUGH (1) is knocking on the door of his maiden win, finishing 0.8L off the winner at Bunbury last time out. That form has already been franked and while he has drawn tricky, he does possess some early speed. Can lob into a handy position and land the knockout blow. WHERE'S TIMMY (4) was impressive from the back in his debut effort over 5f, clocking some nice late splits despite ending up 5L from the winner. Out to 6f is a big tick for him and he should be much closer in the run. Wouldn't surprise to see him come out on top. STATE OF BOOM (5) led them up when resuming over 7f at Bunbury but felt the pinch late. Back to 6f here looks a good move and the booking of Pike suggests he's ready to bounce back. Expecting a much better effort. PARIS TREATY (11) can resume on a winning note.
