BOSUN (3) has gone close in both career runs, missing in a photo at Pinjarra last time out. The one that pipped him looks a smart one and he's sure to be better again now third-up. Rates highly on the back of that effort and can get the job done now. MEDIA MOGUL (6) was sound first-up when 1.5L off the winner over 5f at Bunbury. He jumped favourite there but didn't have the best of luck in the straight. Nottle is in form, her claim comes in handy and from a good draw, he looks the main danger. ZALI'S GIFT (11) missed narrowly two back before being pipped late at Ascot over 7f. Back in trip now, but the form out of her last start has stacked up. Down in the weights and can put her best foot forward. MYSTIC EMPRESS (12) is third-up here and can turn in an improved effort out in trip. VIVA MARCONI (1) is not out of this on his best form.
