The Ciaron Maher-trained OVERTOOK (1) returns from an 11-month spell. Scored easily on debut over 4 ½f at Newcastle then was a shade disappointing over this trip at Wyong at the only other run. Three trials since mid-October will have her fit enough to run a big race. BAYCAT (4) made it six top-three finishes from seven runs when she tired late and clocked in third over 6f at Nowra last time out. Scored over this trip at her only attempt at the start of the campaign. Big chance back to a more suitable distance. STORMY SWEY (8) made a sustained run to get up on the line on debut recently over today's journey at Dubbo. Surprised to see them stay at five furlongs. Should be getting home hard again. THREEFOLD (9) has been just outside the placings at her two runs since a long absence, the latest in a similar race to this at Albury a month ago. Perfectly drawn and ready to peak. INVINCIBLE SALEX (7) impressed on debut at Muswellbrook and cannot be underestimated.
