ABSTRUSE (1) holding her form and doesn't need to improve much to win this from the good draw. Closed late with the 133lbs for a tough third over 5f at Wagga. Sure to be about the money. KOOL BIRD (7) has a good record over this course and distance and strips fitter after her first-up fifth over 6f at this track . Will go back and be ridden for luck from the outside barrier. Stays in the mix. MARINE GIRL (2) massive jump in grade from the awkward gate with a battling eleventh at Randwick in Highway class. Much better set-up for this and no surprise to see her go close. LA MER BLEUE (3) turned his form around for the new yard with a first-up win and unlucky second over 6f at Goulburn. Hard to stop in this rich vein of form.
