Verdict

SWEET SURRENDER (10) flew home from the back of the pack to win by 0.7L at Pinjarra last start over 1 ?m. She's a lightly-raced filly with a stack of upside and she looks well suited to the rise in trip. Drawn better this time and she can bring up back-to-back victories. BAY STREET (11) is knocking on the door following a 0.9L defeat at Pinjarra most recently. The wide draw is a niggle, though Chris Parnham hops in the saddle now and if there's some speed up front, he's sure to be flying home late in the race. GRAND RESERVE (1) comes through the same race as Bay Street and narrowly beat him home last start when sitting up on the speed. He should be prominent in the run yet again and he'll be hard to gun down the claim of ZJP. ELEGANT INDI (9) didn't get a crack at it last start and with a clearer passage this time she can get back to winning ways. DARK LOOKS (6) just missed last start and can go one better this time around despite the wide alley.
