WESTERN MISS (9) was solid on debut behind a smart one that went around as favourite at Belmont yesterday. She sat just off the speed there and was solid late, albeit no match for the winner. Slight rise in trip should suit and she showed enough there to suggest she can get the job done here second-up. CALL ME INVINCIBLE (2) returned in good order when beating Western Miss, settling on the speed there. Will need a touch of luck from the draw, but he returned right up to his best and if he can roll across from out wide, he'll be in this for a long way. KINGS PARK (6) jumped favourite a fortnight ago and was okay, beaten 2.8L at Pinjarra. Up in trip now should help her chances and with two runs under her belt, she can make a statement. YOUANMI (5) wasn't far away fresh and can build on that performance. FIELD MISTRESS (8) trialled well coming in and can feature.
