POPPY'S ROSES (5) sets the standard after resuming with a sound third at Bunbury, beaten just under a length as a well-supported favourite. Her previous campaign included the G2 WATC Derby and a placing in the WA Oaks prior to that. Has class and can knock over her maiden this time around. FARADIO (1) is the clear danger on consistency, having placed at both runs at this venue this campaign and with proven 1m form to call on. An inside draw this time around can see him sit closer this time around and he can make his presence felt. THANGOO (2) is harder to trust after failing as favourite over 1 ?m, but his Pinjarra Scarpside second on soft ground and a Lark Hill trial placing keep him in calculations. Expecting a better run this time with Pike booked. ADMIRE BELLE (8) finds the right race today and is worth including out in trip. FORGOT THE ROCK (9) gets a much different set up today and can run an improved race.
