OAKFIELD MAMSELLE (5) found 6 ¾f a bit short when fresh from a spell at the Beaumont track last start but she did put in some big strides late. Drops a couple of kilos to take on the boys and this is a more suitable trip. Can improve enough to take this out. THROTTLE RESPONSE (8) was history a long way from home last time out over 1 ³/16m at Canterbury. Has been in work for a long while so Waller keeping him going suggests that last run can be turned around. On his best form is the clear top pick on ratings. POWERHOUSE (6) started favourite and although out of the placings was only 1.2 lengths adrift when resuming over 6 ¾f at the Beaumont recently. Has only fired on heavy tracks to date but is lightly raced and deserves another chance. TASSRON (2) should be peaking third-up and is a big chance back at the provincials.
