PRECIOUS GIRL (5) returned from a 31-week spell with an excellent all-the-way win in a similar race to this here a fortnight ago. Draws a nice gate again and only goes up 2kgs so with that run under the belt she looks a great chance to repeat the dose. POTOMAC RIVER (4) is a smart filly back from an eight-month lay-off. Led and never looked in doubt on debut over this track and trip then wasn't disgraced when fourth behind Chayan in the Group 2 Reisling. Placed in a recent trial and is certainly good enough to test this field. SHE'S ASSORT (6) last appeared when runner-up over 5f at Kembla in March. Raced here once at this trip last prep and was beaten narrowly. Sure to be thereabouts. HIDDEN STAR (3) returns after a 20-week break. Consistent performer last prep, albeit in longer races than this. One to watch for late in proceedings. DON'T DOUBT MERLIN (1) was beaten a neck first-up last prep over 4 ½f here so keep him in mind off a 32-week absence.
