STELLAR RHONDA (9) made it two wins from as many runs this prep when she comfortably took out a BM64 over this distance at Gosford last start. Has only raced four times so Matthew Smith hasn't reached the bottom of this mare yet. Follow her up. OFF THE SCALE (11) won a BM66 over the mile at Taree in soft ground two back then tackled a similar race last time on the heavy and struggled. If the track is back in the soft range today she can certainly measure up. TANGLEWOOD JIMMY (12) settled next to last from a wide gate then closed with gusto to get up for third in a 7f Randwick Highway last start. Again has no luck with the barrier draw but he will enjoy getting the mile and is one to watch for in the dying stages. DEEPWATER ARTIST (3) just missed in a Class 4 at Bathurst recently. Query at 1m but is well in after the claim and should be competitive. The lightly raced SILVER TEMPEST (2) scored a barnstorming win first-up at Taree and will relish the longer trip today.
