Tricky race with plenty of chances. MY GREEK GOD (12) has made excellent improvement as he gets deeper into the prep. Rattled late from near last on the turn with an unlucky second over 1 5/16m at Goulburn in BM58 class. Goes up a level for this and gets in light with the 7lbs claimer. Leading player. JASPER'S WAY (5) has gone to a new level this time in and stays in contention after his dominant 5.5 len win as fav over 1 ?m at Dubbo with the 131lbs. Winning apprentice hops back on and looks up to this despite drawing poorly. ELLE HUDSON (4) frustrating gelding who drops sharply in grade after catching the eye with a slashing fourth over 1 ?m at Rosehill in BM78 class. Placed at the trip and can race much closer from the inside draw. Leading contender. BELLINI SPRITZ (2) improving mare proven at the trip. Dropped sharply in distance when she rounded them up with ease to score over 1m at Tamworth. Back in grade and expected to figure prominently.
