DORALEE (3) sat just off the speed then ran on stoutly but found the winner a shade too good when resuming over this course and distance a fortnight ago. Has now raced ten times for six minor placings which is a concern, but she looks to be back in great order. ALPHA ZETA (2) firmed from $2.80 into $2.20 when resuming last time out over 5 ½f at Hawkesbury but after being in contention on the bend didn't finish off. Sure to have more to offer and coming back to this trip might be the answer. OLE STEELE (8) resumes. Easily accounted for on debut at Listed level then filled a minor placing over this trip on a heavy track at Scone before being spelled. Trialling very well and might go to a new level this time in work. QUIET QUESTION (6) settled midfield and failed to improve on debut over 6 ½f at Hawkesbury recently. Odd move to come back to 4 ½f but with winkers on he might fire up. Debutante BUNDY BELLE (7) is trialling in great style and is a real contender.
