Verdict

EMBRACE THE WIND (5) gets the nod in a strong Class 1. Went okay on debut in a deep form race at Randwick then met with good support and was most impressive at the Beaumont track last start, coming from well back to easily account for his rivals at the end of 5 ¾f. Can see him improving further out to this trip. ALIGNED (1) ended off last campaign with a string of placings and should be ready to go off a couple of trials. Could be a big improver this time in. FIRE 'N' STONE (10) was a shade disappointing in the run home at Kembla last start. The stable persists with her maiden prep so give her another chance. PRINCE HARRISON (3) was readied with a win in a city trial so keep safe.

Watson silk

Second run back. First-up after six months won by 2.75 len at Kembla Grange Super Mdn-Sw January 10 over 6 ½f defeating Rockthevelio with 123lbs at $2.35. Previously second-up 3rd of 8 at this track 2yo Mdn on July 12 over 6f, on a slow track, 1.5 len behind San Giovanni with 120lbs at $8. Only needs to hold that form to be winning again. Heading the right way and should measure up again.
