YAM (5) is a quality 5YO gelding who was last seen finishing close up in eighth place at BM88 level at Rosehill 15 days ago, following on from some good form further South. He definitely prefers some cut in the ground, and though he does have a query at 1m, he is nicely placed after a 4lbs claim to be very competitive in this. MAKE IT SWEET (8) only battled at Rosehill over 7f when second-up from a spell, and she is reunited with Jake Duffy who knows this mare well. She has a good record third up, and the extra 1f will suit her. Each way. HOT BANDIT (7) will be dropping 7lbs from his last start sixth at Warwick Farm and he should not have any fitness concerns after having 4 starts back from a spell. He has won his only start on this course, and he is another with serious top 3 claims. BOLTSAVER (4) tried really hard when finishing fifth in a good field at Flemington 8 days ago, and on a heavy track, he can take this out.
