Korea Yeongcheon - Race 2

BLACK WAVE (4) is top pick after making sharp late ground for fourth at this track last start, beaten just over two lengths despite being at long odds. The win column is the obvious reservation, but her latest two runs read best among the recent form references and she looks ready to turn that consistency into a peak result. OAK RIDGE (3) is the main danger, having run second at this venue last start when beaten a length and a half after travelling much closer to the action, though his broader 6f record keeps the assessment measured. STORMY DAY (5) has been safely held at the margins, yet his late work in consecutive runs gives him some place appeal if the race is run to suit. POWER HIT (2) brings the best overall 6f profile among the selected runners, but returns after two months off a heavy Busan defeat and must rediscover his earlier campaign form.
