DIR BRAND (3) was in the money two starts back but was unable to repeat the effort last time when sixth at Kawasaki over 7f. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. DANCING ERIKA (4) finished second here two runs back but was less effective last time over 7 ½f at this track, finishing back in eighth. Likely improver with strong prospects. GREAT SPIRIT (6) finished second last time over 7 ½f at this track when resuming from a spell, beaten 3 lengths. Will trim down second-up. Has started four times at this course and distance and is yet to miss the placings. In the right race and is a top-three hope.
