ORTU SOLIS (1) led throughout last start to score an effortless 5 lengths win over 6f at this track. Winning rider Takehiro Kasano sticks. Major player. ANGE CLAIR (12) showed early speed from an outside draw last time out and led for much of the way before finding one better at the end of 7f at Urawa. Should be tough to rein in again. BETELGEUSE (6) finished midfield at her first run back from a spell last start, beaten 6 lengths over 7 ½f at Urawa when well in the market. Fitter and one of the main contenders. NOT IN THE EYE (7) was well-fancied when resuming last start but could only manage tenth over 6f at this track. Has never missed the frame second up. Should be much improved.
