BALANCE THE BOOKS (4) wasn't far off maiden success before a break of five-and-a-half months, finishing the campaign with a minor placing over 7f at Kawasaki. This looks a little easier today and a bold showing is on the cards. CHARPENTIER (7) finished 13th over 7f at Tokyo Dirt at her most recent appearance on November 15. Now under the care of new trainer Takanori Yamanaka. Rates highly and is likely to be prominent coming back to NAR grade. ECLAIR SKY (1) has not appeared since he finished eighth over 1 ?m at this track on July 31. Has to be respected. COPANO DYLAN (9) raced on the speed and lifted to score by a head at today's track and distance last time out to build on a solid first-up result. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot repeat the dose.
