SHINY DUQUE (4) showed good early muster and fought on to finish third last start over 7f at Urawa. Drawn to enjoy a nice run just off the speed. Tackling a more suitable race so he is sure to be right there at the finish. SPIRIT SURGE (2) last appeared when she finished seventh over 6f at Sapporo on August 9. Lines up today for the first time for trainer Gen Hayashi. Rates highly and makes plenty of appeal. CUISINIERE (5) is a promising type who scored at her only run last prep 11 weeks ago over 7 ½f at this track. Has scored first-up from a spell before. Winning claims on best figures. HEROIC BIO (7) has progressed nicely in his last couple of runs. Finished third at this track two starts back then landed the prize by a head last time out over 7f at Kawasaki. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot score again.
