OUTRANGE (9) has not appeared since he finished third over 1 ¼m in the Tokyo Daishoten at Ohi on December 29. Sure to make his presence felt. TENKA JO (10) resumed over 1 ?m at Funabashi last start and was too good for her rivals, scoring by 2.5 lengths. Has never missed the frame second-up and must be respected. KAZENO RUNNER (3) has been a regular in the winners' stall of late including last start in dominant fashion over 1 ¼m at Saga. Meets some better types this time but another win is not out of the question. DIKTAEAN (8) last appeared when successful by a neck over 1 ¼m in the Tokyo Daishoten at Ohi three-and-a-half months ago, the only time he went to the races last prep. Has a formidable combination with Takayuki Yano who has been aboard for his last two wins. Not to be discounted.
