SHADOW CASTLE (7) returns after a spell of 11 weeks. Started the last campaign impressively when in the placings over 7f at this track. Has found a suitable race. ARES ELPIDA (5) went forward last time and battled on gamely to finish just half a length from the winner in second over 1m at Funabashi. Meeting a deeper field this time but he is up to the challenge. YOSHINO DAISEN (4) was comfortably accounted for when third last start over 7f at this track, beaten 3 lengths. That followed a good first-up win at this track. Going up a level this time but he is up to the challenge. ATTILA (3) doesn't win very often but ran a strong race last time out over 7f at this track, finishing fourth and beaten 1.5 lengths. Well placed and should be about the money.
