MEISHO SUEHIRO (1) is close to breaking through after two consecutive placings, the latest coming when second over 7 ½f at Nagoya after being prominent from the outset. Meets a stronger field but he is good enough to figure in the finish. MICHINO SICILIA (13) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a nice race last time out, finishing fourth and beaten only 0.7 lengths over 1m at this track after being prominent at the turn.
