BALEARES (9) proved too strong two runs ago at Nagoya. Couldn't follow that up last time out when second over 7 ½f at Nagoya, beaten 5 lengths after being in the firing line on the corner. Steps up a level but he is capable of running a bold race. DANON CRUISER (10) produced a nice effort on debut in better company last start over 1m at this track when second, beaten a neck. Has a wide gate to overcome but he is worth following up. AITOKA KOITOKA (3) settled well back before finishing 7 lengths adrift in fourth over 7f at Kanazawa last time. Can bounce back to winning form. SHANK DOLL (11) is back from a spell of three months and does go well when fresh, including a win to launch last campaign over 1m at Kochi. Sound prospects.
