MIDDLEMAN (13) showed good early speed then led into the straight when fresh from a spell last start before fighting on to finish second, beaten 4 lengths, over 7f at this track. Well-placed and will take running down. LUKLA (5) has not raced since he finished third on debut over 7f at this track on December 2. Sure to be competitive. FUNKY YANKEE (3) was unplaced two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 7f at this track. Best stacks up.
