Taking on a better field but he is worth serious consideration. GRAND MALL (7) opened this prep with a win two runs ago then a good effort last time out when winding up in second over 6f at this track, only beaten a nose. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he is up to the challenge. MAPLE LEAF RAG (8) missed the frame two back in tougher company then relished the easier contest last time when third over 6f at this track. Rates highly and is a leading player.
