Verdict

BLAZING WIND (2) couldn't have been more impressive last start when sitting up front and blowing away his rivals by 5.8L. He's up in weight today, but he remains in the same grade and he has the speed to work across from the draw. Purton sticks and judging by his trial between runs, he can go back-to-back. TURQUOISE VELOCITY (3) won two back on the turf before a 5L defeat last start when not handling Happy Valley. He's never raced on the All Weather, but he's trialled strongly on it previously and he should get very chance from the good draw. Can bounce back in a big way. MIGHTY COMMANDER (6) stormed over the top to score last time out on the Turf course and has to be included dropping slightly in weight today. NOTTHESILLYONE (11) is another who won last time, scoring over this track and trip. Drops 19lbs for the rise in trip and will take catching with no weight on his back.
