GALLANT DESIGN (5) is racing well and doing it on all different surfaces, the latest a 1.5L defeat on a firm deck. Purton now hops on board after jumping favourite here last time out. Blinkers get replaced by the visors today and he can go one better today. MASTER LUCKY (6) was fair on the wet deck two back before a 1.5L defeat most recently when jumping the favourite 20 days ago. Gets another favourable map today and he drops 2lbs despite the strong effort last time out. Can sit handy from the outset and give a bold sight. JOYFUL JOY (1) got over the top to win by 1.5L, defeating Gallant Design in the process. He was a $54 chance there though, but the way he did it was very impressive. Wouldn't surprise to see him go on with the job. SOLID CAR (7) is better than he showed last time out and gets the tongue tie on for the first time today. Can play a leading role.
