QUICK CONTRIBUTION (14) missed as favourite before the break, missing by 2L when getting well back from the wide draw. He'll be better for a recent trial and drawing the inside is a big tick for his chances. Remains down in the weights and can notch up his maiden victory. NEXT FORTUNE (10) is the danger despite an eighth first-up. He's better than what he showed there and although he's turned ina plain trial since, getting out in trip looks a big tick for his chances. Can improve quickly. POLAR PATCH (12) has trialled nicely coming into this after having no luck when caught wide throughout to end last season. Can return with a bang. LADY'S LOVE (3) resumed with a two-length third at long odds and now gets Purton from barrier one, which keeps him firmly in the winning conversation.
