PEJIBAYE (1) resumes as the horse to beat, with his Happy Valley third before the break reading well after he was well-supported and beaten just over a length by Winning Champion. Carries the top weight, but his two trials this time in were superb and he looks poised to strike first-up. JUICY DRAGON (3) is the main danger after a third at this track, beaten a length and a half behind Armour War Eagle, and his two wins and three places from nine starts at this track and distance give him a reliable profile. HAYDAY (7) is a seasoned 6f performer with four wins at the trip and gets a 7lbs claim after a fair first-up sixth at Happy Valley. KING'S ARROW (11) is still building a race record, but his fifth at this venue was close enough to keep him in play and barrier 1 gives him a genuine chance to close the gap.
