ALMIGHTY LIGHTNING (5) makes his debut for the Manfred Man stable with some handy trials under his belt. His recent trial on the All Weather was just plain, but his two trial efforts on the Turf prior were very impressive. Purton rides on debut and he can make a statement on debut. JUMBO BLESSING (8) had Hugh Bowman on board for his recent trial victory and he sticks with the gelding for his return. He was strong late on debut when jumping the race favourite. Has shown good ability and can play a leading role on resumption. MASTER LUCKY (1) sat handy and was too good on debut as a $35 chance. DBM hops on board and he's in good form at the moment. Drawn nicely near the outside and he can go on with the job. FUN ELITE (3) will be fitter for his last run and can improve.
