Verdict

COOL BOY (5) missed the start last time out and got a long way back, but he closed off strongly when beaten 2.5L. He's trialled well with Purton in the saddle since and the wide draw doesn't hurt. Can continue through the grades and return to winning ways. GENEVA (4) flew home last start when settling a long way off, finishing 2.5L off a smart winner. Bowman rides again and he's had a quiet trial since that run. Building nicely and he can go one better this time around. PEGAS (8) has trialled well since his latest effort at Happy Valley where he's been solid. He was in good touch here prior including a win here four starts ago. Brown hops on board now and he can put his best foot forward again. THUNDER KIT (13) is better than he showed last time out and his trial recently was solid. Can bounce back to his best.
