Verdict

ONE MAN SHOW (3) disappointed a little most recently but he was in good touch prior to that, beaten 1.5L here beaten two back. Purton remains in the saddle and the key to his chances is drawing an inside barrier today. Won't have to do too much work in the early stages and can bounce back to winning ways. ACE POWER (8) flew home from the rear at this track and trip last time out, finishing 1.3L off the winner and the blinkers go back on today. Likely to end up in the second half of the field again, but if he runs up to what he did last start then he'll be right in the finish. JUICY DRAGON (9) was far too good at this course and distance last time out, flying home to win by 1.3L. Up in weight today, but he continues to improve with racing and there's no reason why he can't repeat the dose. KOL (6) trialled nicely behind a dominant trial winner recently and his trial prior at Happy Valley was good. Looks set for a bold run on debut.
