Verdict

Good race with a few last-start winners. LITTLE PARADISE (2) led them up on debut and was too good despite the wide gate, scoring by 0.2L. The form out of the race has worked out well and he's trialled sharply again since. Showed he has the speed to offset the wide barrier and can go on with the job. MOUNT EVEREST (3) won impressively on debut before a good effort most recently when 1.3L off the winner. He's been back to the trials since that effort 34 days ago and he looks to have plenty of quality about him. Can make his presence felt again. ENJOY GOLF (1) continues to play bridesmaid but he's bumped into a few sharp ones on the way through. Wong now hops on board claiming 7lbs and he's expected to be in the finish yet again. SEA SAPPHIRE (11) was too good on resumption and draws the inside barrier again this time. Should be thereabouts.
