HAPPY BRETHREN (4) finished off strongly to be 1.8L off the winner on debut after being checked out of the stalls. Suspect he can sit closer from the draw this time around and he'll benefit from the experience. Can take improvement from the debut run and land the knockout blow this time around. NYX GLUCK (1) comes back to the 6f today for the first time in a while. His latest run at this track and trip was back in October when only beaten 0.8L as an $68 chance. He's been in good order and the drop in trip doesn't look an issue. Can get the job done this time. FLYING SNIPER (3) is on debut for the David Hall stable with Zac Purton sticking from his last two trials. He raced under his own steam in his latest heat and moved well there. Should get every chance from the draw. COME FAST FAY FAY (12) got the job done last time out and as he drops in weight today.
