GOLD PATCH (3) got the job done in a photo finish on debut before a 1.3L defeat when a $1.60 chance at this track and trip last time out. Needs some luck from the draw, but he's showing plenty of ability and Purton now hops on board. Can get back to winning ways. ISLAND BUDDY (6) couldn't hold on when crossing from out wide to lead last start at this track and trip, finishing just 0.8L off the winner. Teetan reunites with the gelding today and the better draw this time around is a big tick. Likely to be up front from the outset and will take catching. HAPPY SHOOTER (5) couldn't repeat the dose last start with a 0.3L defeat over this course and distance when a $2.70 chance. Maps to get every chance in the run again today and another forward showing is on the cards. MASTER LUCKY (4) will be better for his first try over this trip where he stuck on well. Can improve now.
