RISING PHOENIX (2) has been racing over the mile recently and disappointed on the wet deck most recently. His latest trial was great and Purton hops back on board as he returns to his preferred track and trip. Ticks plenty of boxes from a good draw and he can make a statement. LUCKY MAN (5) pulled up with a few issues last start when well beaten, though his form prior was very good. Drawn to get every chance again today and if he can bounce back to his best form, he'll be in this for a very long way. HAROLD WIN (1) led them up last start to just miss by 0.8L here. The wide draw this time is a query, though he's showing he's up to the mark and with his early speed, he'll be tough to reel in. HAPPY PROMISE (8) is better than he showed last start and can bounce back to his best form.
