HAPPY PROMISE (9) is on debut today for the David Hayes barn on the back of some nice trials at Conghua recently. McDonald hops on board now in a good push for the gelding's chances and he maps to get every possible from the barrier. Can make an impact on debut. ABSOLUTE HEART (1) jumped a $25 chance on debut here 35 days ago and was too speedy, running them into the ground to win comfortably. This shapes favourably again from an inside barrier and he's trialled strongly since. Can repeat the dose today. SOLID CAR (6) resumes from a 71-day break today with Ethan Brown in the irons. His latest trial as very good at Conghua and he has a number of figures that stack up in this field. Can put his best foot forward from a good barrier. APEX GLORY (7) is another debutant in this race today and he's shown some class at the trials. Not to be discounted.
