CROSSBORDERDUDE (1) won well two back from the front before a 2.3L defeat as the equal favourite last time out at this track and trip. He maps for a beautiful run once again and he was best of the rest behind the good winner. Trending the right way and he can build on his handy record. MALPENSA (5) flew home over this track and trip last time out to just miss by 0.8L. The form out of that race has been strong and this looks to shape similarly. Likely to get back in the run again this time but he can storm home once again from the back of the pack. PERFECT TRIUMPH (6) is on debut today and has shown enough at the trials to suggest he can run a bold race on debut. Bowman hops in the saddle despite not trialling him in a good push for his chances. Can make an immediate impact. RUSSET GLOW (7) was better last start at a massive price and can improve again third-up. Not out of this.
