LUCRATIVE EIGHT (9) couldn't land the knockout blow on debut when a $15 chance, beaten by 0.8L in a strong performance however. Teetan now replaces the apprentice hoop and he looks to get every chance again from an inside barrier. Should be better for the debut run and he can go a couple better. PACKING KING (13) disappointed in his debut campaign and has been switched to the Shum stable since. His trials coming in this time have been great and the booking of Purton is a good push for his chances. Wouldn't surprise to see him come out with a bang. THE HEIR (5) doesn't win out of turn, but rarely runs poorly either. He should be a touch closer in the run this time and he should be closing strongly. NAVAS G (10) has impressed at the trials and can run a cheeky race on debut.
