    GOLD PATCH (8) makes his race debut today and has been very impressive in trials across NZ and HK. He's won all three trials he's had since arriving in Hong Kong and J-Mac was on board for his effort back in December. Reunites with the gelding here and while he has drawn wide, he looks to have plenty of ability. LEADING DRAGON (10) is another on debut who has shown enough at the trials. Karis Teetan has made the trip to Conghua for his last 3 trials and remains in the saddle for his debut today. Draws the inside and is sure to make his presence felt. LIVE WIRE (11) settled midfield but closed off strongly here on debut to finish in third behind a smart winner. The outside draw again this time is a bonus and he should be better for that effort. Trialled nicely coming in and can put his best foot forward again. SPICY SPEEDY (6) wasn't beaten far on debut and has trialled well since. Can feature once again.
