Verdict

The debutants look to hold the key in the opener, none more so than MAPOGO (7) who looks an exciting gelding on debut. He's won all of his trials since arriving in fine style under Poon, showing good early speed in the process. He maps perfectly out wide on the straight course and he can make an immediate impact. CLASSIC TRIPLE (3) is another debutant who has shown glimpses at the trials, leading in his latest heat down this course and distance when narrowly edged out. Atzeni remains from his public outings in a good push for his chances. Should be in this for a long way down the grandstand rail. RUN RUN SUNRISE (8) was in the firing line on the corner and finished second last time over 5f at this track when resuming from a spell, beaten 2 lengths. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run again. CASA PRIMO (2) has trial form around Mapogo and has to be included on that.
