Verdict

LOYAL BRIGHT (5) showed plenty of ability in Queensland prior to being sold to HK. He's acclimatised well, winning his last three trials, including the latest by 3L. The horse who finished second in his latest trial has since come out and won. Can pick up from where he left off in AUS. CHEAHA (1) got a long way back and rattled home over this track and trip to be 1.5L off the winner last time out. Purton now hops in the saddle and he's open to plenty of improvement. Likely to get back in the run again, but can finish off strongly. ALSONSO (10) wasn't beaten far last start down the Sha Tin straight and now gets the Blinkers on as he comes to The Valley. Draws ideally to be close to the speed and he rates highly on his recent efforts. MY DAY MY WAY (12) will be fitter for three trials coming into this and was placed first-up in a similar race when fresh last campaign. Can be in the finish.
