Verdict

This track poses a question for the quirky but seriously talented AL HUDAIBA but headgear ought to help his cause and already a winner in Grade 2 company, he can defy the 3 lb penalty. Pikachu was third to the selection in the aforementioned Newmarket race and he's the chief threat on form, though a bigger threat may emerge in the shape of Haffner

Horse Racing Basic Terms

Fractions

The times recorded during the race; with timing starting just past the gate or when the gates open, then parroted for the quarter, half, three-quarters etc. Used as an indication of ability and speed.

Also Eligible

A horse that is entered but does not draw into the body of the field due to too many entries, and thus is not permitted to start unless there are enough scratches to shrink the field size.

Daily Double

A wager on two consecutive races on the card where bettors have to pick both winners.
