Verdict

LINED SATIN (12) was well found in the market, fresh up and did not run on as expected just over a month ago at Timaru. She steps straight up from a mile to 1 ?m, and where there is smoke, there is fire. Stick with her. LEONA (10) did not have the best of luck in the run home here 8 days ago, and could be the leader here after drawing in the pole position. If she gets her own way early on, she can take them all the way. REBAL AGENT (5) tried hard and only peaked on his run late here 4 weeks ago when resuming from a spell over a mile. The extra furlong is ideal, and he should be hard to hold out. CIMARRON (1) ran on late for third here 4 weeks ago in a similar field. He cops a wide gate, but will be peaking third up, and can figure in the top 3 again. LEROY (13) did not see out 1 ?m last time out, and his form prior was near enough. Dropping back to 1 ?m is the key, and he is not the worst for top 4 combos. has been looking for more ground than a mile, and she can run top 4 here.
