Verdict

BANNERDOWN showed promise under a considerate ride on his debut at Stratford last month and with that form recently franked by the winner, he's fancied to get off the mark at the second time of asking. Horethorne is bred more for stamina than speed but wouldn't need to be anything out of the ordinary to make a serious impact. Triple Edge is a well-bred sort who is entitled to step forward from his initial outing, too.
