THE SPANIARD (2) bounced back from a poor run here in his penultimate start with a fast finishing second on this track 9 days ago. The extra 2 ½f is no problem, and the key is to ride him quietly early on. He is ready to win. JACHIMO (4) fought on courageously for second as the favourite at Arawa Park a fortnight ago over 1 ³/16m. That was his first time over ground, and the extra ¾f is ideal. Stick with him. MORETOTHINKABOUT (10) has yet to race up to his breeding, but he should relish stepping up to 1 5/16m for the first time. Each way value in this. DA ACE (1) has raced his way into some good form, and a wet track is no problem. He has been placed in his only start on this track, and he is worth including in all top 4 combos again. DENVER (3) was well in the market before being checked and dropping his rider here last time out. He likes it wet and is worth another chance.
