Verdict

ORSON STONE (1) put it all together when scoring a comfortable win as a hot favourite at Arawa Park 3 weeks ago. He steps up to a middle distance and can repeat the dose. VENDABELLE (8) posted an overdue maiden win by a neck at Tauranga 2 weeks ago in her first run over a middle distance. She is still on the way up and will go right on with the job now. RELIABLE SQUEEZE (11) has raced her way back into form once she has gotten out to a suitable distance. She is still a maiden, but can still figure in the top 4 here. DEL INQUENT (4) is knocking on the door for his first win after finishing second in a modest field at BM60 level just over 2 weeks ago. Stick with him. Each way all day. PURE BARS (6) was much better when finishing third on a heavy track at New Plymouth just over 3 weeks ago. He tries a middle distance for the first time, and is worth including in all combinations, especially if it is wet.
