DIAMOND DEALER (3) is a genuine 1m specialist and reminded everyone of that with a dominant 2.75-length win here last start as favourite. This is a tougher assignment, but he's clearly thriving and can repeat the dose. SHAQ DIESEL (1) was below his best fresh when well-supported but never came into it over 7f. The rise to the mile is a big plus, and he can bounce back into form with that run under his belt. Follow your money. JOLLY ROGER (6) continues to race well this prep, placing in 2 of 3 runs this prep, including his last run when finishing just a head back off the winner over this distance on the turf here last time out. Stick with him. NYAAR (8) couldn't match the winner last start but still ran a solid second after scoring here the run prior. He is backing up a week later, and in the small field, he can produce another honest effort.
