Daily Double

A wager on two consecutive races on the card where bettors have to pick both winners.

State-Bred

A horse bred in a particular state and thus eligible to race in restricted state-bred races. These can be anything from maiden races to stakes events.

Morning Line

An approximation of expected odds in a race, quoted before actual odds are determined.
