LA DANZA (10) went so close to breaking through when finishing runner-up by a head at Matamata 4 weeks ago over 1 ¼m, and the extra 1f should see her go one better. On top for us. KUDOS (1) is knocking on the door this year, and fought on gamely for second at Pukekohe nearly 4 weeks ago over a similar trip. He cops a decent gate and should pick up an overdue win at short notice. THE FRENCHMAN (2) has been narrowly beaten in his past couple of starts, and if he can slot in somewhere close to the fence, then he can have the last say, especially on a wet track. I'M QUINN (4) tried hard and only peaked on his run late second up at Matamata 17 days ago, finishing fourth. He will be spot on with his fitness now, and with Opie Bosson up this time, he can get the job done. GUIPAGO (3) has been mixing his form, and he will have a nice draw upgrade here. Include in all top 4 combos.
