KEAYANG ALABAMA (2) was well supported and made a solid impact on debut a week-and-a-half ago over 1 m at Kilmore, beaten 4 metres into second after taking charge of proceedings a fair way from home. Will enjoy a nice run from this favourable starting position. Meets a similar line up so he is capable of getting the job done. MAJOR ROY (1) was responsible for a very good effort last time over 1 5/16m at Charlton, finishing third and just 2 metres from the winner. Sure to enjoy an economical run from this draw. Meets a comparable field and he can take this out. COLOSIMO (3) produced a good effort on debut last start, finishing third over 1 5/16m at Terang. Has plenty of scope for improvement. STEEL MIKI (6) could only finish eighth over 1 m at Kilmore most recently. Open to improvement and is in the mix.
