RANGER RICK (6) has been competitive of late and kept the ball rolling last time when 1.3 metres from the winner in fourth over 1 m at Hamilton. Good enough to win a race of this calibre. IM WESLEY (5) has recorded two wins and three minor placings from the past five starts. Lines up for a hat-trick after a fine win last start when he found the lead and did well to go on and score by a head at Echuca over 1 5/16m. Won't find this any harder and he can go right on with the job. SAVON DE ROCHE (8) is the next best after finishing third over 1 m at Hamilton last time out. SCOOTER LOU (1) has won his only previous start at this track and gets every chance from a favourable draw.
